One Madrona Interior Design

A trained eye. A personal approach.

We start by listening. Not just to what you want the space to look like, but to how you live, what matters to you, and what you've never quite been able to put into words. Then we bring a deeply trained eye — shaped by years in global luxury retail and a life lived across cultures, cities, and continents — to make it real.

That breadth means we're equally at home with a sleek European aesthetic, a Pacific Northwest craftsman, or a classic coastal living room. Whatever your vision, we have the range to meet it. And the goal is never to impose our taste. It's to find yours, and bring it to life beautifully.

Based in Olympia, Washington, serving homeowners across Western Washington and virtually.

Kitchen & Bath Design

The most used spaces in your home deserve the most thoughtful design.

We design kitchens and bathrooms that fit the way you actually live, so every time you walk in, it just feels right. The goal is a space you walk into every day and think: I’m so glad I did this.

Our services include:

  • Space planning and layout that maximizes every square foot

  • Cabinet configuration designed around how you actually use the space

  • Appliance, fixture, and finish selection at every price point

  • Countertop, tile, and hardware that hold the space together beautifully

  • Construction documentation, on-site oversight, and contractor coordination so what was designed is what gets built

Full Service Interior Design

Full service doesn’t mean big project. It means we handle everything, so you don’t have to manage it alone.

Whether it’s a primary bedroom and bathroom or an entire home renovation, we guide every detail from first concept through final installation. You’re involved at every key decision. We handle everything around it — the coordination, the follow-ups, the contractor schedules, the corrections — so the process feels manageable rather than overwhelming.

The result is a space so personal that anyone who knows you would walk in and immediately recognize you in it.

 Our services include:

  • Concept development and space planning for any room or whole home

  • Finish, material, furniture, and fixture selection

  • Furniture, lighting, and décor sourcing through trade-only resources

  • Full project coordination with contractors, architects, and trades

  • On-site oversight and installation management from start to finish

Aging-in-Place & Universal Design

Whether a senior wants to stay in the home they love, or a family is creating space for an elderly parent to move in, thoughtful design makes all the difference.

We create beautiful, functional spaces that support independence and dignity — without ever looking clinical or feeling like a compromise.

Done well, this work is about more than design. It’s about helping families stay close, and helping the people they love feel independent, valued, and at home.

 Our services include:

  • Space planning for safe, comfortable movement throughout the home

  • Barrier-free kitchens, bathrooms, and entryways

  • Grab bar, lighting, and non-slip flooring placement

  • ADU and in-home suite design for multigenerational living

  • Full project coordination with contractors and trades
